NexGen Cyber recently had the pleasure of attending the BITA Construction Networking Lunch, hosted at the stunning Royal Horseguards Hotel, 2 Whitehall Court, London. It was another fantastic event bringing together professionals from across the construction industry, a brilliant mix of familiar faces, great conversations, and new connections.
It was great to have one of our valued construction clients, Mart Watson from Centrum Plus, join us for the afternoon and evening. We shared a table with a fantastic group of industry peers:

The conversation flowed as easily as the wine, covering everything from current construction challenges to future opportunities in the sector. The meal itself was superb, a beautifully curated menu featuring Smoked Salmon & Dill Gravadlax, followed by Lemon Crusted Corn-Fed Chicken with Dauphinoise Potatoes, and finishing with Cambridge Burnt Cream, Seasonal Berry Compote.
We also had the privilege of hearing from Paul Whitnell, who spoke passionately about what’s been happening within the BITA community. He shared inspiring updates, including plans for the upcoming Mellon Educate Building Blitz in Cape Town, South Africa, where Paul and several community members will be volunteering their time and skills to make a real difference. He also showcased some of the incredible work being done by BITA members, one standout example being an innovative project focused on plastic filtration in rivers across India and surrounding regions, tackling pollution at its source.
After the formal part of the event concluded, we continued the discussions just a short stroll away at The Old Shades Pub, rounding off the evening in true BITA fashion, with great company, a relaxed atmosphere, and plenty of laughter.
