The atmosphere was electric at Bluewater as dads from across Kent came together for the DadSpace Charity Football Mini Tournament, an event that perfectly captured the spirit of community, friendship and support that sits at the heart of DadSpace.
Held at the impressive Ballerz venue within Bluewater, the tournament offered much more than just football. It provided an opportunity for fathers to connect, build relationships and enjoy an evening of healthy competition while supporting an important cause.
From the first whistle to the final match, the event showcased teamwork, determination and plenty of smiles. Players of all abilities took to the pitch, demonstrating that the tournament was never just about winning, it was about creating memories, strengthening friendships and encouraging positive conversations among dads.
Families, friends and supporters gathered throughout the evening, as well as our own CEO Simon Rosemeyer, cheering on the teams and helping to create a fantastic atmosphere. The event highlighted the power of sport to bring people together and reinforced DadSpace’s mission of supporting fathers through connection, conversation and community.
A special thank you goes to NexGen Cyber for sponsoring the tournament and helping make the event possible. Their support enabled DadSpace to continue raising awareness of the challenges many fathers face while providing a platform for meaningful engagement and support.
The choice of Ballerz at Bluewater proved to be the perfect setting. With its state-of-the-art facilities and exciting football environment, it provided an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
Most importantly, the tournament helped raise valuable funds that will support DadSpace’s ongoing work with fathers and families across the local community. Every ticket purchased and every participant involved contributed to making a positive difference.
As the final games concluded and the teams gathered together, there was a real sense of achievement and camaraderie. Events like these remind us that football is about far more than goals and trophies, it’s about people, relationships and supporting one another.
The DadSpace Football Tournament at Bluewater was a fantastic success, and everyone involved can be proud of the impact they helped create. We look forward to seeing even more dads lace up their boots and join future events as the DadSpace community continues to grow.
Together, we’re building stronger connections, one game at a time.
